Fengyu joined the Oxford Soft Robotics Lab in October 2021 after completing his Master of Engineering Science at Oriel College. He is co-supervised by Prof. Perla Maiolino and Prof. Amy Zavatsky for a research project regarding an in-shoe plantar pressure measurement system for post-stroke rehabilitation. His previous projects include a pneumatic actuator that achieves proprioception with a neural network conducted under the supervision of Prof. Perla Maiolino in the final year of his undergraduate degree.
He enjoys playing tennis and Texas Holdem for leisure.
