SRL x Oxford Brookes University Science Bazaar 2023

On the 18th of February, Oxford Brookes University hosted the Science Bazaar 2023 event, which aimed to engage families and their children aged between 5 and 12 years old and let them explore various topics such as robotics, health, the internet, and many more while playing and having fun.

Different students from the Soft Robotics Lab demonstrated part of the current research on soft actuators and sensors on which the group is working. This was a huge opportunity to introduce children (as well as their parents) to soft robotics and its potential to bridge the gap between robots and humans for safer and more productive collaboration.
