Biography
Stephen joined the group in 2014 as a systems engineer, and progressed to lead the Software and Systems team. Stephen’s team provided crucial support to the academic labs within the institute. They write tools and libraries that underpin and enhance the amazing work of the students and research; they guide the students in their algorithm and software development; and they field ambitious and ground-breaking trials and demonstrations of real-world robotic systems.
Stephen completed an MEng in Engineering Science at the University of Oxford in 2014 before joining the lab. He has passion for building and deploying working systems to solve real, tangible problems.
