Biography
Parth joined the Oxford Robotics Institute as a Robotics Software and Systems Engineer in 2026. Working across perception, planning, control, and system integration, his work focuses on bridging the gap between cutting-edge robotics research and the robust, real-world deployment of autonomous systems.
Prior to joining the ORI, he worked across multiple domains in robotics, spanning safety-critical autonomy, aerial robotics, and soft tactile sensing. In these roles, his work combined software engineering, systems design, and academic research, leading to publications in IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters (IEEE-RAL) and IROS. His technical scope covers the full robotics stack, from embedded systems to high-level autonomy, with a focus on ensuring reliable and robust performance.
Parth graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2025. He holds an MEng in Information & Computer Engineering (Distinction with Honours) and a BA in Aerospace Engineering. His master’s thesis applied computational neuroscience and probabilistic inference to spatial navigation under perceptual uncertainty.
