Maximilian joined The Oxford University Robotics Institute as a DPhil student in October 2023 where he is currently researching under the supervision of Professor Perla Maiolino in the Soft Robotics Lab.
Max completed his BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering with a First Class at the University of Edinburgh. Max’s BEng project involved developing and assessing a novel design for a sectional-jamming soft manipulator.
Max’s interests lie in the design and applications of Soft Robots with a special interest in developing Soft Robots for use in medicine and healthcare.
