Biography

Leone Costi obtained his B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering in 2018 at 'Politecnico di Torino' and his M.Sc. in Bionics Engineering in 2020 jointly at 'Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna' and 'University of Pisa'. Then, he graduated from the 'University of Cambridge' in 2024 in Bio-Inspired Robotics, during which time he developed soft interfaces for medical teleoperation, as a Marie Curie scholar. His main area of expertise was Soft Robotics design and manufacturing. His research interest was in the middle ground between Robotics and Medical Science, from the development of medical and surgical tools to wearable soft robots and implantable fully artificial organs.
