Biography

Leonard earned his B.Sc. in Engineering Science at TUM and was pursuing a M.Sc. in Robotics, Cognition, and Intelligence, where he focused on visual computing, robotic control, and perception. During his studies, he interned at BMW, working on the development of a motion-planner for a robot-based computer tomography. Supervised by Maurice Fallon at the DRS-P group, Leonard focused on real-time tree reconstruction from LiDAR point clouds for automated forest inventory.
