Haoyu joined the ORI in 2025 as a DPhil student, supervised by Prof. Ingmar Posner at the A2I lab. He's general goal is to develop general purpose manipulation systems that work in everyday life. His current research interest lies in the intersection of continual learning and multimodal representation learning.
Before joining the ORI, Haoyu received a Master of Science degree in Robotics at the National University of Singapore under the supervision of Prof. Lin Shao. Prior to that, he obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Beihang University, Beijing.
In his spare time, he likes to play basketball, swimming, and is trying to have a better reading routine.
