Georgi joined the Oxford Robotics Institute as a DPhil student at Worcester College in 2020, under the supervision of Prof. Paul Newman. He obtained a Master in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Oxford. His final year project involved developing a system for abnormal event detection in video streams. After graduating in 2018, he joined the autonomous driving software company Oxbotica, working on visualisation systems, map tooling and route planning.
His research interests include semantic segmentation and mapping in mobile robotics.
Outside of work, he enjoys movies, music, and playing basketball.
