Yiduo is a DPhil Enginnering Science student at the University of Oxford. He joined ORI in 2018 under the supervision of Dr. Maurice Fallon. The focus of his research is active mapping using the ANYmal quadruped robot. He holds an MRes Robotics degree awarded by UCL. The research was under the supervision of Dr. Simon Julier and Dr. Igor Gilitschenski on combining SLAM with semantic segmentation for dynamic environments. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronic) degree from UNSW, Australia, where he studied under Dr. Jose Guivant in the area of SLAM.
