Ollie joined the Oxford Robotics Institute as a DPhil student in 2019 after completing his undergraduate studies in Engineering Science at St. Hilda’s College. His master’s project was working with Chris Prahacs designing a means of force detection for the Formula Student suspension system.

His research is on the application of 3D printing in soft robotics and how it can be incorporated alongside printed sensors to improve the proprioception of soft robotic hands.
